No Debris pick-up.  Tempest's exclusive shroud design virtually eliminates ground debris pick-up. Unshrouded fans can turn debris into dangerous projectiles.

Seven-Blades are better.  Tempest's blades have been dynamically and statically balanced to ensure maximum performance and safety. No Tempest balloon inflator blade has EVER been reported broken in service. Seven blades also help balance out the stresses exerted on the engine crankshaft, prolonging engine life and greatly reducing the chance of a crankshaft failure. Tempest's seven-blade propeller delivers a more consistent and even volume of air.  You get a better and faster inflation.

Shroud and grills protect your crew.   Tempest safety features like the Turbo 2000 spun aluminum shroud and front and rear grills help protect against accidents.

Precise pressure head.  The Turbo 2000 shroud creates a unique cone-of-air that seals the envelope mouth opening.   This "pressure head" helps prevent the envelope from collapsing or rolling in the wind.  Caged units create a "shaft" of air and may create an unwanted "spinnaker effect" as air goes in one side of the mouth and out the other.
