Locking gate for maximum safety. Locking carabiners should ALWAYS be used for making critical connections such as Inflation Restraints, Tether Lines, etc.  “D” shape adds a “spine” to the carabiner for better load bearing qualities.  Test strength of approximately 6000 pounds. Size 4.25 inches long.
