Help eliminate the danger of metal hardware snapping back at passengers, ground crew, or pilot. This inflation restraint has been tested and released at up to 3500 pounds of load.  It comes with locking carabiners, ready for a two-point balloon attachment. Complete with a 20-foot tie down line and a storage bag.

The release assembly and tie-down line is fabricated from high quality double braid, low stretch rope, all hand spliced.  The 20 foot tie down rope is eye-spliced at both ends to facilitate easy attachment and retain maximum rope strength. The materials for the Quik-Release have been chosen for their low-stretch properties, so that neither the release itself or the tie down rope acts as a “rubber band” to endanger passengers, crew, or bystanders.

* The red activation handle is fabricated from metal. However, this release incorporates a “no-load” activation.  In a nutshell, any part of the assembly that may come into contact with passengers or crew, is rope only.  The metal activation handle remains in the hand of the operator at all time during release mode.
